I wanted to reach out and introduce myself.  I am the person hosting the “Virtual Posture Summit, “Summit Scripts Summit”. 

I think it is amazing that you are going to be participating in it.  Using speaking to build your business is something that is near and dear to my heart.  

Main reason is it can accomplish at a higher speed of velocity an impact that is one of my core values.   Leaving A Legacy.    

I think in some ways we are all hoping to leave a positive legacy.  We get caught up in the mechanics of the business and we are all looking for options to improve our business, but in the end I think we can all agree we want to make a positive impact on the world.

I’ve built 6, 7 & Multi-Seven Figure businesses in the brick & mortar world, Online Education Space, & the SAAS (Software As A Service) Industry.  

But I’ve also been so poor that I use to have to donate my plasma from my blood twice a week just to have money to eat.  

I’ve also run a $3 million dollar company straight into the ground.  

Every failure made my desire to succeed that much stronger.  I tell you this because you are most likely either still trying to get your business going, or are looking for opportunities to scale it.

That’s what they always said right.  If you are nervous about speaking on a stage then imagine the audience naked.  (I never found that to be very useful). 

However, I do know many people have a fear of speaking.  Maybe even you do?

I want to calm your nerves and let you know that once you do start speaking it gets much easier.  

I also want to let you know that there is more than one type of stages.  I think we often make the mistake of thinking that speaking equals standing on a stage in front of hundreds of people.  

It can mean that, but it can also mean being on a webinar in front of hundreds of people.  Or hosting your own One-Day Summit to a group of people.  Or even doing Facebook Lives from your page.

We are talking about scaling conversions & getting more people to engage & then buy.    

Perfecting your story telling skills, and understanding the power of tying in key frameworks to increase the buyer actions.

Here’s a quick tip for you.  Use Facebook live as a platform to test out parts of your speech when you are preparing.  Watch the areas of engagement during the FB Live.  (If there is none, then you definitely need to change it up). 

Comedians do this all the time.  They take small 10-minute gigs to test out pieces of their act until they have the audience rolling the whole time.  You can use that same concept when practicing for a speech! 

This will also help you remove those butterflies & fear before speaking.  :)

What’s your legacy?  What’s your message that the world needs to hear?
