Most of us start off struggling with a few very specific things.  The problem is we often don’t actually acknowledge the problems.  We will say things like “My list isn’t big enough”, or “I need to make more money” etc.  These aren’t the actual problem.  These are symptoms of the problem.

I lost a Multi-Million Dollar Business. Not a fun topic, but it did help get me to where I am today.  It was a surreal event.  Almost over night.  It was like the faucets dried up and nothing was coming out.  My overhead was out of this world as I was spending money like it grew on trees.

I have military training so at the beginning I was staying pretty calm, certain I would be able to figure it out or fix it.  Then after about a week I started to get nervous.  Nothing was changing.  Then after 3 weeks I was a wreck.  Knowing that next week I was going to have to let most of my team go, I was going to have to call up all of my mastermind groups that I needed to cancel.  And the most heart wrenching was having to cancel my dad’s 60th birthday party that I had planned to take a big trip with him.  Damn that still gets me.  

Maybe you haven’t lost a million dollar business but I am sure you can relate to tough times right?  I mean it got so bad I didn’t know how I was going to pay rent.   After 4 months of draining all my business savings, and a majority of my personal savings,  I took a long look in the mirror.  

It was either time to quit or get the hell up and fix this.  I chose the latter.  I went back to the basics, looking for a little win, where I was trying to hit a home run victory.  I created something, which I now call the hustle funnel, which allowed me to go from broke to creating $300,000 in less than 3 months.  

From there I studied why my business went under in the first place.  What I did wrong, and how I could fix it.  I looked at how the other successful influencers had their businesses set up.  And I mimicked success.  

Now that business is up and running stronger than it ever was before and thankfully it was rebuilt from the ground up in a manner that will prevent this issue from happening again.
